AURP Canada has partnered with CANARIE to offer all 26 Canadian research and technology parks and their tenant companies access to CANARIE’S Digital Accelerator for Innovation and Research (DAIR). Through the Powered by DAIR program, the 1,400 companies located in the research and technology parks will have access to free cloud-based compute, network and storage resources to develop, test, prototype and demonstrate next-generation products.
DAIR’s made-in-Canada cloud provides users with the cost certainty, scalability and long-term usage horizon that can kick start commercialization of research and the formation of new businesses. Cloud technologies drive a meaningful competitive advantage for small businesses by providing computing resources that can quickly scale up or down to meet changing business needs. It helps small businesses gain experience with cloud technology, avoid costs of internal development and test infrastructure, and accelerate time to market.
